Teaser Trailers

I chose this trailer because i though it was done very well, I liked how it was only one very long zoom out as well as the sudden realization that everything has been destroyed. (it's a video game trailer but essentially the same thing. let me know if it needs to be changed)
I like it because it is only one shot that lasts about 1.5 minutes. The music is iconic 50's with a 50's styled radio and old bus. Eventually it zooms out to show an apocalyptic city with the juxtaposed soundtrack which has a nice effect. once the audience see the destruction the music fades and we hear wind and nothing else giving an eerie feel before creepy music and image of "futuristic" soldier before a fade to black with voice over and then the title fades in.
Teaser trailers usually use footage not seen in the film (this case game) it gives little away about storyline and doesn't tell the audience what it is until the name appears. In popular series it likes to give away hints at the film such as, in this case, the soldier and the advertisement on the bus let "hardcore" fans guess the content. Teasers usually give you the setting and introduce part of the story, very little is given away. Characters and most events are usually not seen in teaser trailers.
